The Himalayan Club library is an institution by itself. With more than 2000 books, handwritten manuscripts and many Journals and maps, it is a major store-house of knowledge. After being shifted from Shimla to Calcutta and to Delhi since the early 1930s, it now has space in the India International Centre at New Delhi, in its headquarters in Mumbai and Pune and Kolkata.
